Havasu Falls Camping Tour:
What:
A three day, two night, all-inclusive camping trip to Havasu Falls! Our trip leaves Flagstaff at 6:00 am.
After the 3 hour drive, we arrive at the trailhead on the Havasupai Indian Reservation and begin our descent into Hualapai Canyon. After a 13km (8 mile) hike, we arrive at the tiny village of Supai, home of the Havasupai Indians. After another 3 km (2 mile) hike, we catch our first glimpse of Havasu Falls, and arrive at the campground. We set up camp and spend the afternoon relaxing and taking in the beautiful scenery.
We spend the entire next day swimming and exploring the other waterfalls: Mooney and Beaver Falls. Mooney Falls is the biggest of the Havasupai Falls, its higher than Niagra Falls! Beaver Falls is an additional (optional) 4.7 km (3 mile) hike, but well worth the effort. All along the way, there are beautiful swimming holes and rope swings. After a day like that, you're sure to be exhausted! After a healthy dinner and a good night's sleep, the following morning we make our ascent. We will return to Flagstaff at approximately 7:00pm.
